H.E. Arpád Göncz
Writer. For his human and literary achievements as a translator and freelance writer he was awarded several prizes, including the József Attila Prize and the Premio Mediterraneo. Árpád Göncz is the author of a novel, a collection of short stories and several plays such as "Hungarian Medeia", "A Pessimistic Comedy", and "Persephone"and has translated more than a hundred works, mostly by English and American authors. He had been President of the Republic of Hungary.
